Not a single one, whether grabbing drinks at the bar (Amanda is THE BEST!) or sitting down for dinner Our daughter is Celiac and they are SO careful, attentive, knowledgeable and not bothered by any questions. It’s a place we know with confidence we can dine and always get a phenomenal meal Because of all of this, we had our tiny wedding reception dinner here in 2023 in the private room - we felt wholeheartedly it was a place we could share a beautiful meal with our family and close friends after getting married. It went off without a hitch and people still rave about the food, service and overall ambiance. So many special memories! Thank you Barcelona West Hartford for all you do and are! ”
“ Love coming here, it’s my favorite restaurant in CT! I bring my friends and family here constantly for new excuses to come. The food can sometimes be a bit salty, but I personally have always loved it regardless. All new tapas I try I love, and the wines are great. I actually ended up taking a trip to Spain because of how much I love this restaurant. One of the many times we came they forgot to bring out our drinks, and they graciously offered us free drinks our next visit — and honored it with an additional free dessert! The staff is very kind and accommodating. ”

“ Have been here 4 times over the last few years. Every time is a good time. I’d say the we have had very good experiences each time. It has a very lively, noisy, but comfortable feel. The crowd is younger but it is fun. Love the looong booth seats with tables for two gently spaced apart. The sounds bring the dining rooms alive. The soft aged dark woods and fun and bold art and lighting make the atmosphere pop. The cocktails were very good, as well as the flight of wines. The food was delicious. We started with some cheeses, meats, nuts, and an olive salad. The savory and sweet flavors were a nice way to warm up to the bigger stuff. Onto the Jamon Croquettes, carrots, mushrooms, dates, and bread with EEOO. Wow, a complex blend of flavors and textures. Complemented by bread dipped in EEOO. Divine. “Would you any dessert?” Um, yes, if you say. . Cheesecake with strawberries and Graham Central Ice Cream. The experience is mind blowing. The ultimate end to a great night. “ I visited for the first time last week and everyone absolutely enjoyed it. Each dish was tasty. They offer all tastes and flavors from Spain. I lived in Spain for two years and the memories came flooding back. The jamon iberico was amazing. The calamari ridiculously good. The drinks were all refreshing and tasty. The sorbet and ice cream were delicious. I highly recommend. It is pricey but well worth it. ”

They truly made our engagement and birthday celebration feel first class. The food and drinks were outstanding — I wish I could give them 10 stars! ”
